The challenge was to fabricate a pair of mobile showrooms for a luxury personalized shopping experience. I did the ground-up industrial design from a simple landscaping trailer, and based the mobile showroom systems off of typical RV designs, which included integrated solar power, dry cell battery banks, and a dual Cummins integrated generator system. I also installed electro-static glass film within the custom engineered sliding glass doors and window system, making the windows opaque at the flick of a switch.
Pull-out trailer stairs
One of my proudest technical achievements was designing and engineering a set of 4’ wide stairs that were functional, elegant, and quick to deploy. Both the design and materials for the stairs needed to be Insta-worthy, while also being lightweight and slim enough to fit under the trailer’s sub-decking, and safely secured while in transit.
