Saturday Night Live | Kanye West

To fulfil a Saturday Night Live Kanye West skit to turn two vehicles into a pair of drivable Yeezy Slides, we had to find two trucks that were roughly the same size, operable, within budget, and available within our 4-day timeframe. With two 1985 Ford Ranger pickup trucks, we cut the tops off and applied upholstery techniques to create foam arches and panels. Each vehicle was then painted in a large spray booth. As part of the challenge, my crew and I also navigated the logistics of delivering the trucks to the 30 Rockefeller studio.
